2024 Holiday Card

The 2024 Burns & McDonnell holiday card centers on the theme of community, reflecting our deep appreciation for our employee owners and clients. During this season, we celebrate our connections and the spirit of togetherness. With this in mind, we sought to highlight the global nature of our community, using the imagery of a snow globe—a universal symbol of holiday joy and unity.
Incorporating elements of our evolving brand, the snow globe design features illustrations that highlight our Global Practices. The exterior of the card echoes last year’s design, with a detachable snow globe ornament on the front and a raised, glossy patterned background to enhance its appeal.
The ornament itself is crafted with intricate details, including
gold foiling on select elements, raised embossed white outlines, and a shimmering blue finish on the sky and snow. A raised, embossed building further adds dimensionality. On the back of the ornament, our holiday message reads: “Here’s to spreading good energy across the globe,” offering an uplifting, positive sentiment that resonates with clients across all industries and reflects the work we do to improve lives worldwide.
The card's interior continues the theme with blue and gold foil design elements and a smooth paper texture for handwritten messages. We’ve created two versions
—one featuring board members' signatures for employee owners and another tailored for clients. Both versions carry a message of positive energy, tying back to the ornament and highlighting our partnerships with our Charity of Choice and United Way.
The envelope completes the presentation, offering a sneak peek of the ornament design on the front and holiday messaging on the back.
This year, we are also introducing a new element to our client gifting experience. Along with the card and gifts, clients will receive a physical metal version of the detachable ornament, placed in its own box with a card stating that a donation has been made in their honor to Project Lead the Way. Due to high demand, a limited number of these ornaments will be available for purchase by employee owners through our brand store.
